Have you read the Beatitudes before? Did you like them?
If you answer yes to both of these questions (and even if you didn't) then this book is for you. Max Lucado is an amazing author who writes amazing books and this one is no different. It looks at each Beatitude over 1 or 2 chapters and usually is told with an amazing story or personal recount of something that happened to him. This book also has an optional study guide in the back, which makes it an excellent book for personal prayer or faith growth. If you are looking for something to challenge you or encourage your faith then this is the book for you.
I read this book myself during my prayer times and found it very entertaining and highly insightful. I had never gotten so much out of the Beatitudes before and didn't realise how beautiful they really are.
